SSC EXAMS

SSC: - Staff selection commission is an organisation come under the administrative control of centre government. It take care recruitments in various government sector. It is tasked with the job of carrying out recruitment for Group B and Group C non-gazetted posts (both technical and non-technical) for central government departments as well as various autonomous organisations.

There are some exam is conducted by SSC are:

Ø CGL (Combined Graduate Level): CGL is the most popular exam conducted by SSC. It is conducted every year for graduates to recruit in various non-technical posts of Group B and Group C in central government. There are so many vacancies are exist such as Assistant Grade, Auditors/ Inspectors of Income Tax/Central Excise, Sub-Inspectors in Central Police Organisations (Assam rifles, BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP and SSB) and CBI, /Upper Division Clerks, Divisional Accountants etc.

Ø CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level):  This is one of most popular exam is conducted by SSC. It recruit basically lower division clerk and data entry operator in various government departments. Ø MTS (Multi-tasking-staff): This exam is also conducted by SSC. The minimum qualification is required is matriculation.

Ø Junior Engineer Examination: SSC recruits exams in technical cadres of Group B. The recruitment is done for engineers in Central Water Commission, Department of Posts, Central Public Works Department, Military Engineering Services etc.

Ø Stenographer (Grade C and Grade D): This requirement is conducted by SSC stenographers in various central government offices as well as attached subordinate offices. Minimum qualification required for this exam is 10+2 and stenography skills.

Ø SI in Delhi Police, CAPF and ASI in CISF: SSC conducts this examination to select personnel for various police organisations of the country such as Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Border Security Force (BSF), ITBP etc.

Ø Constable Examination: SSC recruit this exam thought open competitive exam in forces such as BSF, ITBP, ASSAM RIFLES, CRPF, SSB, NIA etc.  Minimum eligibility is Matriculation for this examination.

Ø Junior Hindi Translator in Subordinate Offices/ Central Hindi Training Institute: An open competitive examination is conducted every year by SSC to recruit translators in various organizations of the government. A graduate or post graduate with Hindi or English is required for the post. However, post for Hindi Pradhyapak in Central Hindi Training Institute, experience is also mandatory for this post.

In all exams of SSC tires are conducted for each and every exam. A tire is depending upon exam. Senior level of exam has 4-5 tires and Group-C or Group-D exam has 1-2 Tires.
